Another thing inside this amazing kit is a cork bobber. First, it’s a simple way to hold your hooks and flies so you don’t ever lose them. Second, unlike a plastic bobber, cork won’t shatter if you accidentally step on it.

There’s a hole drilled through the cork. Just run your line through it and use the toothpick provided to lock the line in the exact position you need. Everything is reusable.

But this ferro rod on the other hand is absolutely foolproof. Throws a super hot spark that will actually start a fire fast, without rubbing sticks together. Without a lot of fuss.

Also included in your kit is a 3-strand 12-inch length of jute twine.

Like I said, everything’s got multiple functions in this kit. So you can unravel the 3 pieces and create a tough 36-inch piece of jute twine for a tie down, or to make a snare to catch birds or for a million other uses...

There’s also a small ball of steel wool included.

Most people don’t know this, even survivalists who should, but steel wool is not only very reliable kindling, but it also holds a spark very well.

Just place a small amount of jute twine ontop the steel wool, use the rod to ignite it, and the steel wool will hold that spark perfectly, giving you plenty of time to ignite dry grass or some other tinder.

We’ve tested this over and over again.

...without depending on matches or a lighter and without a lot of screwing around.

The jute twine and the steel wool are stored together in a tiny resealable plastic zip lock bag, so they will never get damp. You’ll always have an easy way to create a life-saving campfire.

Your striker, what you use in conjunction with the rod to create that spark, is a short steel hacksaw blade that we’ve tucked away neatly inside your kit.

Means you’ve got a striker... and a saw.

And this hacksaw blade has been sharpened on both tips so you’ve got a knife too!

Because a knife is one of the most important tools you can have in the field. You should always have one on you.

But even if you’re caught without a pocket knife, this piece of hacksaw is capable of butchering an entire animal.

Easily cuts tendons, slices meat, saws bone... the whole works!

Plus there’s a surgically sharp razor blade included too, for more detailed work like skinning. Or you can secure it to the tip of a branch to spear frogs, or as an arrowhead to bring down bigger game.
